Tyron Woodley Opina Que Gilbert Burns Es Capaz De Causarle Problemas A Kamaru Usman

El campeón de peso wélter del UFC, Kamaru Usman, ha defendido el cinturón de las 170 libras en dos oportunidades ante Colby Covington y Jorge Masvidal, y actualmente acumula una racha de 12 triunfos en línea desde su debut en el Ultimate Fighting Championship. El próximo retador de Usman será Gilbert Burns, a quien muchos postulan como un verdadero opcionado para convertirse en el nuevo monarca.

El ex-campeón de peso wélter del UFC, Tyron Woodley - quien viene de caer ante Usman y Burns - entregó algunas declaraciones para el podcast UFC Unfiltered, en donde se refirió a los peligros que Burns podría representarle a Usman (vía MMANews):

Tyron Woodley: "(Burns) tiene poder. Tiene más poder que Usman. Es mejor grappler que Usman, tiene talento para el Jiu-jitsu, pero creo que el striking - quizá no sea mejor, pero golpea un poco más fuerte, y va a haber un momento en donde tendrán que ir al piso. Podemos ser honestos, Gilbert va a ganar la pelea en el piso. Quizá no con la espalda contra la lona, pero si encuentra una manera para quedar por encima o en una posición en donde pueda tomar la espalda, eso será un problema".

He's a better grappler than Usman, jiu-jitsu wise, but I think the striking – he may not be better, but he does punch a little bit harder, and it's going to be a point where it has to go to the ground. We all just can be real: Gilbert's gonna win that ground fight. Maybe not from his back, but if he finds a way on top or a position where he can take the back, it's a problem."
